Question Automatic lights upgrade

My wife recently purchased a new Focus Trend LW2. She absolutely loves it but misses one thing that her previous car had which the Focus does not ie. auto lights. We could have purchased the Trend with the options pack which included the auto light feature but didn't want to spend some 3k purely for the lights.

The trend appears to have the auto light sensor already fitted to the dash and I was wondering whether anyone can tell me if the wiring is already in place for the upgrade? and would it be a PnP situation?

My alternative option is to purchase an aftermarket auto light kit and have it fitted but since the light sensor is already on the dash I would like to utilise it for a more cleaner fit. Grateful for any views.

Default Re: Automatic lights upgrade

Should have purchased the sport as it has bucket loads of extras and
has been on sale now for a few months. Have not used auto lights or
auto wipers yet on mine as still trying to learn all the features in the sport.
Best option would be to talk to the parts people or an experienced
service advisor on the upgrade as it is an option and maybe the price
can be looked at for a better deal if they want the sale.
