I'm not a "horsey" person nor a betting man but even I must admit she is one hell of a horse

the records may come for prices paid for offspring.......I wonder what horse they will choose and the outcome of that
anyway whatever eventuates from breeding her the record wins will remain for a very long time I think

I think its a cop out, they retire her without a loss.
Its like saying I have the fastest car in the WORLD! But it sits in my garage all day, I idle it every now and again, but I won't take it out, and you with the second fastest car in the world isn't going to race me. They should have kept running her until she had a lose, then retired her, and made her make lots and lots of babies, they would still sell for lots of $$$ anyway. I've seen her at every race she was in at Flemington, and watched the interstate ones. |

as a horse person, i think all the people comparing her to Phar Lap & Carbine, saying the mare is as good or better ....well, i'd like to slap all of them. You cannot compare stayers to sprinters, totally different.
