Hi guys i have an oil leak from this place (can see it dripping when car is on). What is this part?, is it replaceable, how hard etc?
Car is an au3 xr8 (windsor engine) Cheers  |

Yup definatly looks like the sender they are know to leak eventually

Cheers for that! Simple fix of out with the old in with the new?. Will search up on it
Cancel that, looks to be a common problem/ easy $20-$30 fix |

Well it turns out it was the sender...$60 from fraud. Now after putting it in the oil pressure is zero and the light is on....This one is a lot larger than the original. Did i just get sold the wrong part??

The low series I believe have an oil pressure switch rather than sensor. I tried putting a sender in my forte and it read 0. Put the switch back in and read normal.
I think you need a high series BEM or ECU in order to actually get the sender to work. So fraud have I believe given you the wrong part.
