Good afternoon
For those looking for new Genuine Ford parts, GT Legend has offered to assist in obtaining parts at a discounted rate. He is happy to quote pricing first as sometimes other sellers have sales that could be a better deal and it always pays to shop around, but he has kindly offered to help in obtaining where possible. He will receive email notification of posts in this thread but please be patient in waiting for a response.

Set of rear door glass hinges would be $250 including freight, how ever there is only RHS available at this point in time, the LHS wont be available until April/May next year due to the COVID lockdown where the manufacturer has been closed all this time. GT |

OK thanks for the price. Problem is the left one has given way. I'll see if I can get one at a wreckers / ebay, otherwise I"ll get back to you when they're available.

Can you tell me whether there were different part numbers for the fuel tank locking ring from EA up to Bf?
I have been sent a Replacement ring and measured it against the old one and it appears slightly smaller. I also can’t get the replacement to screw on and am wondering if I do have the wrong one. Cheers |

EA-ED Wagon from 8/1987 EA9A307C EF-EL Sedan up to 28/2/1998 EA9A307A EF-EL Sedan from 1/3/1998 EL9A307A. EF-EL Wagon: EA9A307C AU-AU3 Sedan: EL9A307A AU-AU3 Wagon: ER9A307A BA sedan changed and utilised a ring with screws up to 29/9/2007: BA9A307A BA-BF Sedan from 30/9/2007: BG9A307A. BA-F Wagon with screws type: BA9A370B. If need be I can check ute ones as well, but in saying that it looks like there is a combination of 5 different type of retaining rings that actually screw on the tank of the thread opening. Couple of others that utlise screws to hold it down. Not sure what the actual differences are between each, so theoretically you could get the wrong one for what ever vehicle you have. GT |

Hi Legend,
hope you have been keeping well?. this time i have just a small question re pac nuts [or hub nuts] that are fitted to the AU/BA/BF fronts as i have seen two types for sale on ebay. one is black in colour & uses a 36mm [1 3/ths] socket Black Pac Nut, the other is a grey colour Grey Pac Nut & not sure on nut sizing. what/which is the correct nut & what is the difference between em?. Thanks |

Is this Ford Motorcraft PTFE XG-8 Grease available from Ford dealers or elsewhere in OZ?
I need some to deal with a binding slip joint in a Toyota Hilux and I am told it's the "bee's knees" for this job,

I wonder if my windscreen cover in my insurance would at least cover a certain amount, if I agreed to pay the difference for a genuine screen. Don't really want to crapshoot a non genuine one. Been burnt before. Cheers. |

Hiya, are there any flag nuts on the parts list? I found one sitting on the plastic tray under the engine, no idea where it came from!

Good morning all. Just had car serviced and inter cooler hoses are leaking.
It is a 2011 MC LX 2.0TDi. I know others have replaced them in previous posts, but I was wondering if anyone has the part numbers and where they were purchased them from. Also rear lower control bushes or are they a complete unit, Cheers, have a good day. |

I need the black and chrome parts for around the windows of a 1009 FG G6ET. I can't find the parts anywhere and they were damaged and need to be replaced. Can anyone tell me what they are called or link parts? Sorry if this is not how it's done, new to the forum
