Two new paint colours....

Two new paint colors to enter Ford lineup.

MENACE - A bold purple colour with a searing blue highlight. (Not available until June)

KASHMIR - A mid tone European grey with golden undertones. (Not available until August)

Get into your local dealer to check the paint chips out next week.

Menace sounds good (although it can't be any worse than Vibe) but Kashmir sounds a little bit so-so. I saw a pale gold-ish colour at the FPV open day that looked terrrible...I don't know if that is Kashmir, but it wasn't pretty.

i prefer more of an 'imperial' blue sort of colour personally :P too bad its not standard on the millenium falcon

They do not appear to be on the website yet....although I haven't checked FPV's site to see if they are there.

I do wonder why ford bring out "gold" type of colours though, acid rush was passable but the organza style gold (lighter, weak golds), no one really likes them.

Look forward to the colour swatch being available.
BA will go down as having the best colour range..

that would be blaze....1 of the shittest colors ever imo, especially for a performance car.

these 2 new 1's sound alright, menace in particular..just adds more variety and attracts more potential customers....good stuff

Each to their own. Blaze looks horrible to me, however it might actually look good to someone else. Hence the fact that they aren't all painted black.

If you want to know what Menace looks like, think XB Falcon era Mulberry Purple and you'll be pretty close.

Just thought I'd have a look and there's seems to be another colour, this one is posted up on the website.

Called Icon, another type of blue. Available on all models expect XR's. Available April 2005.

Go to the Ford website, click where it says Virtual Showroom, then click Passenger Vehicles, then Falcon range, it should come up with another window.

Highlight Style and Craftsmanship, then click the second option up (Exterior). Along the bottom should be a list of cars. The very end one says Colours. Click that. Icon is the one on the top row, very last one in the corner (above Envi).

well the car i saw was an XR, or was at least made to look like 1....and was in that zest color....

at first i thought it was blaze, but blaze is close to a yellow, and this color wasn't.

thank god you cant get it on an XR though. its a hideous color

I've seen Menace on an XR6 ute and it looks terrible. Its a pinky purple mulberry color that looks :ymca:

I agree, I think ive seen the same XR6 as you in Geelong, its the only one ive seen so far..its terrible!
