Default Weird Electrical Problem

Hey guys,
Went to lock the AU (forte), and it wouldnt lock. I noticed the interior light was still on.(Staying on all the time).

After jumping back in and driving, the interior light flashes everytime i indicate right!! :

Have demons possesed it? Im guessing its some kind of short? , anyone have any ideas.

Thanks guys,
Steve

That is bloody insane!

Sometimes the trailer wiring shorts out, either under the carpet in the boot or on the outside where the plug is.

Doubt this will be the case for you, because the courtesy light circuit doesn't hook onto the trailer plug (AFAIK) but it's worth a look-see

Sounds like a taxi pack option. LOL.

I'd say you will need an auto sparky to sort this one out - in the meantime, just pull out the courtesy light fuse. And try locking it manually with the key.

I pulled out the coutersy light earlier, to try and not get a flat battery.

I just went outside then to play around with it, and everything is fine!

Check for water/moisture in the connectors behind the r/h kick panel.
