Went in to my local Ford dealership today to enquire about the ST. The salesman I spoke to simply said "You'd know more than me, mate" :p
But he said August release, and should have more details this time next month. What was interesting was that he said they'd come in the same colours as the Focus ST (but maybe not Tangerine Scream, since they're phasing it out, he believes). And that there might be a bright blue colour the same as what the Mazda 3 has. I'm so torn. I'm ready to buy a XR6 / G6E Turbo, but for the price and fun factor I think waiting 6 weeks for the Fez ST might be a go. Last edited by NanoDuke; 18-06-2013 at 04:01 PM. |

Yeah can live w/o climate (I have used climate twice in my ST). But the leather is nice. But if i were buying it wouldnt be a deal breaker either

Apparently when the ST arrives in NZ it will have a recommended retail of $34,990
http://www.stuff.co.nz/motoring/8735...iced-hot-hatch On the Ford NZ site a manual Zetec is listed from $25,990. So $9k more for the ST. http://www.ford.co.nz/cars/fiesta/price-list Will this price difference be mirrored in Oz? Here a manual Zetec goes for $21,290 http://www.ford.com.au/latest-offers/fiesta The ST could be a touch over $30K for us Aussies. I'm sure a test drive, and 2.9% finance, would ease a lot of buyer's minds. |

I like the symposer, i had it in my XR5T aswell although that didnt need it as the exhaust note needed to be heard. The ST though isnt quite in the same league in that dept unfortunately.

Wheels said August/September.
I'm 6'5 and 115kg. And more than comfortable in the 5 door Fiesta. Have driven 3 hours plus and got out without aches or pains. Installed an armrest though which does make a difference. |

BFYB I think the Fiesta ST will gave few equals, but it's a very different car to an XR6/G6E Turbo.

Fez ST with a set of coilovers and a tune will be a massive sleeper!

That Focus looks epic!!
Never thought I'd like the Fez ST in performance blue, but it looks quite menacing. |

Any chance we could put all this discussion in the 3-door ST thread?
The 5 door ST isn't coming, so this thread is done. |

I've found that 3-doors are easier to get in and out of, and offer better visibility due to the B-pillar being further back. Twisting and reaching over your right shoulder to grab the seat belt can be a pain however.
