Default Power Window Regulator Question

My passenger window has never worked in the period I've owned the car. I bought a wrecker (checked) regulator to replace the one in my door after cleaning the switches thoroughly.

I've just pulled the door card off and plugged the replacement regulator into the loom, but nothing happens when I hit the window buttons. Am I missing something? My drivers side window still works as normal.

Try running a hot wire to the unit to see if it takes power, if it does then grab a multi meter and check the wiring in the plug to find ware dead spot is

if either switch has a faulty interlock contact ( stops the 2 switches working against each other) the window won't work

I'd say the original regulator was still fine.

Common fault is the switches on the AU models. Sometimes if you keep clicking them hard enough they'll start working again.
