Default Cruise to Mudgee 14/06/09

Mudgee Cruise Sunday 14th Jun-2009

8:00am Meet at McDonalds Richmond. Cnr East & Market Streets Richmond.

8:30am
- Shoot up Bells Line Of Road through Lithgow, re-group at Ford Dealer in Lithgow.
- Take the Mudgee (Castlereagh Hwy) exit.
- Follow Castlereagh Hwy to Mudgee & turn right into Lewis Street then left into Market Street.

Lunch:
Approx 11:30am at McDonalds Bakery & Café.

After lunch we may head to the local wineries or breweries. This is dependant on what the group wants to do. It's up to everyone...

Following this the same route will be taken to get home. Once into Clarendon we can stop at Hogs Breath Cafe..!

Notes
•Please be at the meeting point on time as we will be leaving at 8:30am sharp.
•Bring this sheet along with you on the day as it may help if you get lost or left behind somehow.
•When you arrive at the meeting place make sure your car is full of petrol so you do not have to stop mid cruise. Caltex fuel is available at the meeting place.
•If we can all drive with our lights on, as it is easier to see each other.
(Also looks as if were all part of a cruise, or a funeral, but hopefully a cruise)
•If you have CB radio’s bring them along (and batteries)
•Channel 14 is the Official FPV– Tickford Club Crusing Channel.
•It will be ON, rail / hail or shine.

See you all there

Cheers

Good day, was good to see some new people turn up aswell. But how good was that Bakery????? That was the best Mexican pie I have ever had and the French vanilla cheese cake was just the best.

I reckon this would make an excellent overnight trip in the warmer weather though.

And Ben Morgan has volunteered to wash all of our cars for us, afyer diving through the road works....

yep it was a good day and nice drive. An overnighter there would be great, a winery crawl would be just the ticket.

Was a great run and thoroughly enjoyed the trip, that bakery was bloody brilliant.

There is definitely a weekend in going out there, something I will look into. A two day wine crawl is looking good. I polished one of the reds off last night, damn nice.

Stretch, the day I wash a car is the day after I see you washing the club's cars from losing that Melbourne points comp 2 years ago..... :

You're just jealous you had to eay my poxy six cylinder dust the whole run :

What is it with you.
What a combination mexican pie and French Vanilla ceese cake.
You must have a cast iron stomach.

And here we all thought pickled eggs were bad enough.....

next time you could make a detour through Rylstone and Kandos on your way home.

from Mudgee , -> Lue, -> Rylstone (one of the oldest towns west of the mountains) -> Kandos (famous for cement and kandos street machine show) -> back onto the highway just north of Ilford.

nice senic drive with some places of interest
