Default Still nothing on Ford website about V8SC

i see there's nothing on ford's website about winning the V8SC championship. why do they bother participating in the series if you are not going to gloat about winning? come on, ford, take advantage while you can

Sorry, but why would Ford mention DJR racing. As far as I know Ford provide sponsorship to FPR.

Ford have other areas where their money can be utilised more wisely.

At the end of the day, great race, great to win the championship - but Ford have chosen, for what ever reason, the demographic is no longer there to pump advertising dollers into.

Yes, but they also pay sponsorship money to SBR and DJR. indeed DJR will have won a 'bounty' of extra sponsorship money by winning the championship.

Oops my bad then - but, at the end of the day, I'll still stick to the latter part of my response.

It'd only cost a few bucks to add it to the 'news' section

I am just wonder why, if you were not a Ford enthusiast, would you even consider buying a FPV (or holden <> HSV)?

Both marques are VERY Australian and are derived from the traditional red/blue tribalism that has been nurtured over the last 40 years.

The rest of the world see Holden vs Falcon as like Toyota vs Mazda or Hyundai vs Daewoo.

It is only important to US and really if you did not know who won V8SC or at least that V8SC exists then you are hardly likely to even know where a FPV/HSV dealer is located let alone what they have to offer.

Save the money and spend it on "targeted" marketing that is to the group who are interested and maybe convince some of them to buy a new car rather than some old second hand one. Wasting time trying to convince the vast majority of people who see a car as an appliance like a fridge or television to buy an expensive high performance sports saloon is really rather futile.

I am fairly sure that no amount of advertising regardless of how clever will ever sell tampons to men......
