if you can see the water pump
you undo the belt it runs off
undo the water pump holding bolts
the pump can be can be taken off with tools
clean the surfaces use a sealant and refit the pump and belt

if the pump is internal and runs off the timing belt thats much more complicated if it is a twin cam engine and needs a trained person

you have to remove all the belts, then take off the timing belt covers. line up the timing marks on the camshaft sprocket and the crankshft one aswell. loosen the 12mm bolt that runs through the tensionerand with a big screwdriver lever it back so there is no tension on the belt and then do it back up. remove the belt. now undo the 2x12mm bolts that the lower radiator hose goes onto. then undo the other 4 bolts. clean surface and make sure you use some sealant on the gasket. then put it all back together. make sure you get the timing belt back on right and make sure the crank and the cam hasn't moved. hope this helps.
