Hi Guys,

Thanks for accepting me. My current drive is a BA Fairmont Ghia 6. Which I have owned for 15 years now. My first car was an XC GL 4.1, then an XD GL 5.8 4 speed which I wish I still had, isn't hind sight a wonderful thing . Along the way I have also owned a 1974 Fairlane 302. I'm having a problem ATM with the ICC where the top part of the screen is blank and the A.C. isn't working. I've checked all fuses and they are all ok. Any advise what it could be.
Thanks

Hi guys, thanks for the acceptance. Had blue blood all my life.
I own an Aug 2016 FGX XR6 Turbo Ute in Kinetic, it came out of the last batch of Utes made and was the last Falcon delivered by Hillis Ford in Wagga Wagga.
I also own an Acapulco Blue 1969 GT Mustang Fastback 408ci, 5 speed, 9" with Truetrac and 17" Superlites. Currently in Dan Gurney's No 2 69 Trans-Am race livery.
Unfortunately the system wont allow me to upload photos

G'day & Bula vinaka!

Thank you for accepting me into The AFF. Having recently moved to Australia from Fiji a year ago so thought I'd get myself an Aust vehicle so I found myself a 2008 Falcon XR8. (1st Ford ever owned so am very pleased) Joined this forum so that I could get advise and info on how to best care for the XR8. Cheers. Jimmy.

Hi ..New to the Forum ...but after some advice re waterleaks.
I have a 2009 Territory F6X - and water is building up in boot well.
Right rear headlining is wet and seems to be coming down internally in well...but after several visits to the local Ford dealership and a local panel beater no luck finding source.
Anyone there is a common issue re water leaks ...looking at getting the latches on tailgate window replace as the next idea...

Thanks

Hi, I'm Chris, I have a 2004 BA Wagon that I use as a work vehicle it has 321K on it now and runs very well (hopefully good for many more k's). The mechanic who looks after it for me (I don't look after it myself as it is a work car so I get a pro) has been putting 10W30 oil in the motor, I'm wondering if this is a little low given the mileage. Any ideas?

Hi Guys I'm new to the site which has been very helpful to fix my 2005 BAFairlane dual fuel surging problem . Hope this helps . After replacing coils and plugs which worked for a while I cleaned the throttle body with throttle body cleaner while motor NOT running . Used about half a spray can ,let it sit for a couple of hours then started up . GOOD AS GOLD. This also cleans the MAP sensor which may have been the problem .
After this excercise I found that the oil had discoloured . So far after a week ,all good

Hi All.
New member, long time lurker, first time poster.
Plenty of help has been provided while getting my 2010, MK1, FG, G6E, 50th Anniversary edition, ex taxi to being a smooth driver.

Now, trying to figure out what is causing the incessant pinging I have under the slightest of loads.

Hello all
Just arrived, currently in final negotiations with salary packaging a Ford Everest Sport.
Always driven Toyota’s and decided that it’s time for change and liking what I’m seeing.
I’m up in the Kimberley and not affected by the COVID-19 so I want to get out and enjoy the feeling.

GDay GDay. Preeps, I’ve just recently purchased an 1987 ford bronco and decide to jump in here for an advice or Evan parts and all that stuff, looking also to see if an one can help with build dates as from what i have found I’m sure 3 month of 87 was last build month by looks but can’t confirm. Anyways its was fuel injected 4.9 by the looks but now been converted to carry by previous owner, rust yes standard with these old dinosaurs, but drives and runs like a dream 2 front guards and bonnet and som minor/ major cab works in usual spots and a full new tailgate required this ones a basket case now I’ve been able to open it
Look forward to chatting in regards with others out ther about issues and parts.
Cheers
Jase

Hi to all you mad ford nutz out there and thanks for letting me onto this ford forum. I have a question in regards to my xc ute custom I'm building and I was wondering if there is a engine bay loom v8 or 6 cyl that has a 2 pin plug with the main 12v yellow and black wires as I have bought a gxl engine bayloom but it has a 6 pin plug the same size as the ignition plug with 2 12v yellow and some other wires. The ute is a factory 6 cyl manual xc ute and help would much appreciated

Hello, thank you for letting me join. I have owned a lot of fords in my time. my first was a 1965 xp. I used to burn around in it after school, had no battery, just had to jump it from my dads car and it would run. Bring back the generators. cheers

Good day to all on the site. Thanks for allowing me to join in. I am going to detail my 2007 Ford Fiesta as it was a starter car for my wife when she got her licence. I know that I will receive help for any of the issues that come up and am looking forward to learning how to bring an oldie up to scratch.

Hi all, new to this site. Just purchased my first Ford (06' FPV GT). Was a Holden fan in the 90', but that changed when the BA Falcon came. Needed a 2nd car to take my 02' Hilux off the road and fix up and a weekender. Not a fan of newer cars they seem to have too many electronic crap in them.

Hi all. Finally have a Ford again after over 3 decades since I had a 302 '68 XT. I certainly wouldn't put the '97 XH XR6 up there with the XT, but it's good not to be driving the new cars and back into something I can work on.

There's some cleaning up to do with the ute, but look forward to seeing what others have to say on here and I will certainly be looking for help along the way. I have already come up with 'old man' problems and can't even see well enough to change the clutch cable from underneath the dash...hell!

Thanks all
