Default Indicator R&R - EB.

OK, I'm going to remove the stock front blinkers from the Fairmont and install some clears...Having a brief look last night suggests that the headlights also have to be removed to do this. Is this correct? Are there any particular gotchas in doing this R & R (such as hidden screws/bolts tabs etc)?

Sorry if it's been canvassed before (probably ad nauseum, knowing my luck!)...If it has, a link to a howto or similar thread would be handy.

yeah take the whole headlight out. Should be 4 or so 8 mm plugs holding the lot in plus the 2 plugs for the indicator and headlight. Take it out and 3 phillips head scrrews hold the indicator onto the headlight.

2 bolts above the headlight into the chassis, 1 behind holding it down in front of battery and airbox and also 1 on the inside near the side of the radiator. The last is the hardest to get to but still fairly simple.

Hope that helps.
Dan

The side bolts are the bitch.
4 bolts per light.
Just remove a total of 8 small bolts, (dont forget to unplug the lights & indicator)
Then pull the light out, unscrew amber indicator, replace with clear.
Sounds easy.
(for me it involves removing the front bar.. grrrrr)
