Default Auction of heaps of old Fords rusting in a paddock

Just saw this today. Great place to buy your next long term project car.

it breaks my heart that people can let cars degrade so badly without passing them on or doing something about them

Probably picked them allup for nothing, and now expects to get $10K > $20K each.

That's local to me - I wonder if he died and the family are clearing the property.

Sounds like it. Everything to be sold and removed within 7 days. So many incomplete cars, many will probably go cheap, it's all the old stuff the bidders will be coming for.

Just in Estate.

Happens all the time.

Not necessarily the sellers fault.

Interesting V8 XC ute, but I reckon the engine is rooted by the look of the shrub growing out of the manifold.

The town had the ****s up with his eyesore collection over the years, everyone knew of him.

I didn't know them personally but we all know of him in the area.

It's like an archaeological dig of an ancient Falcon civilisation...

This is the second auction at this property.

The first auction (over 10 plus years) was stopped shortly after as the owner did not want to continue with the auction.

It does look like a few of the nicer cars have been removed.

Was going to go, but they changed the auction day so missed it. From what a mate said a lot of people were annoyed they were asking to much for stuff.
