Default Wanting people's thoughts on doing up a 07 TDCI mondeo

Hi,

I was just wanting to know people's thoughts and opinions on doing up a mondeo MA model.
I was thinking about tuning, cold air intake, bigger blow of valve. Not sure what else to do. And what's peoples opinions in life of the engine on a 2L diesel.

And has anyone ever used a sound booster.

Much appreciated in advance

Do some research on the motor. If its anything like the ranger i had, it has a throttle body of sorts, but it only shut turning the car off as to stop vibrations or something like that. Turbo diesels typically are fuel controlled unlike a turbo petrol that is a combination of fuel and air. My understanding, so again do your reasearch, turbo diesels dont need a blow off valve and you can get them, but theyre electronically controlled.
An intake may improve turbo sound and possibly turbo flutter. I have driven a tdi mondeo before and i was surprised. It went pretty good.
