Default replacing AU sII XR8 ute suspension

Hi guys, as per title

Most people are probably gonna suggest Koni's id imagine? I don't wanna spend squillions on this. I want to do bushes and suspension parts. I can probably get a package deal with the company in the link for all bushes and suspension.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Falcon-AU...item4d095a49c9

However, I don't know if im keen on Monroe GT's. I want the guard just covering the top of the tyre.

Suggestions? Links?

Please

That's not a bad price for the lot, but the rears are useless to you. You would need to ask them for a quote on the Fr and Rr shocks plus Fr springs and get a price on resetting your rear springs.
I don't see anything wrong with using Monroes, have used them myself and they do what is expected of them.
You can try these guys for the Fr Springs http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ford-Falc...item416e5ac507
They also have the bushes http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ford-Falc...item416e9b7942
and, these people seem to have a good selection http://stores.ebay.com.au/Suspension...id=p4340.l2563

As to bushes, are you considering the plastic type or the original rubber ones? Personally I wouldn't touch those plastic ones but to each his own. I recently put a new set of rubber ones in the front of my AU XR6 and replaced the ball joints, rides really well. The main thing I did was to replace the upper control arms with BA ones and used the brackets from an XR6, longer bolts and a thick spacer/s that seems to help.

Anybody used these lowered struts?

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2-Lowered...27ba105&_uhb=1

I've used pedders lowered struts on a couple of cars previously, and was impressed with them. But there price tag is closer to $600 for a pair... Would rather use a lowered strut with my xr springs than using a stiffer spring rate lowered spring.

I ususally go on the notion that you get what you pay for or by advocacy. Low price and never heard of them.

are you going to do the work yourself?

I replaced the bushes in my front end. But I went to a trusted suspension place for a check up first to identify what needed replacing, then went from there with a reasonable order sheet.

nah i was just gonna get my mechanic to do it, order all the bits and just have everything replaced; more for peace of mind but also cause the rides getting worse. I have new swybars so theyre the only ones which wont get replaced
