Seen it befor. Why did he leave the bonnet open for he made the fire worse by doing that.

Yeah should never open the bonnet with a fire. Just feeds it oxygen.

I have one of those aerosol extinguishers mounted just infront of my seat. They're only about $30 from memory at Autobarn



The seat slides right over the top of it. Out of the way, but always handy ;)

I've got a fire extinguisher from autobahn. I may never need it, but after my dad set his daimler on fire and the amount of engine fires another member on this forum has had that shall remain nameless, I figured it would be a damn good idea

I had 2 beefy ones at home. They didnt last long too much fun spraying each other with them. That white crap goes everywhere. Parents werent too happy lol.

My first impression was insurance job.

Why not get the extinguisher on the fire in the engine bay ASAP instead of standing there and filming it, letting it get worse

the thing is, it was also an electrical fire. if he'd disconnected the battery he might have gotten away with it
