Default Re: Original tramp rod mounting

When i had my XB gt, it came with the factory rods. After it led a early demise at Oran park, we transfered everything into a XB falcon 500.
One job was to put the tramp rods in, i measured the GT and drilled in exactly the same spot on the '500... to my shock, there was a crush tube in the chassis aready.
This is the car i have now (the green one) and have since used the same hole and crush tube to mount the top control arm of the four link. also, the XE falcons i measured, they locate their top conrtrol arm in the same position!
