Tremec or B/W T-5 into 3000GT

Hey, I want to put a t-5 into my 3000GT automatic. The newer Falcon Tremec T-5s seem to have 23 splines on the input shaft but the older Borg-Warners have 10 splines. I potentially have one of the older boxes. Can you get an appropriate clutch for the 10spline input shaft or do you need to change the input shaft? Are there any other issues apart from bellhousing etc. Thanks.

Andy, If using 10 spline buy a 240mm dia clutch plate (early Ford). Have done many of these conversions.
