Dont know how true this is, but heard the following which is worth noting if you have a Sat Nav in your car.
Someone was at a concert and had their car stolen. Theves pressed home on the Sat Nav, went to the owners house and knowing it was empty (they were at the consert) and also knowing it was going to be ages before they managed to get home (no car), also cleaned out their house. As I said I dont know if its true or just a story, but worth changing the 'home' on your Tom Tom to somewhere near your house, not the actual address. Appologies if this is a repost. Not been on here for a while. |

Very old "internet email" story which has done the rounds for a very long time... each time the story location changes.

Yeah my home address on m y GPS is just a random street in my suburb which I have never heard of.
Likelihood of above story actually happening is pretty slim, but still no point risking it. |

I just have a 4 digit pin on my sat nav so it cannot be unlocked unless your have the correct pin or in the home location
