I have a few rust spots showing up on my AU2 ute. Were talking small, like about the size of a pin head. Whats the best way to treat them? I take it just touching them over with a paint pen is not the thing to do? Want to jump on it while its still manageable. thanks :0)

I don't know about treating rust in cars. But I do work with metal all the time. So I know you at least have to get rid of the rust before you cover the spot with anything :P

Grab some rust converter from supercheap or somewhere and read the can, I think you just put it on, wait, then put paint or something over it. Depends where it is too i guess, if it's going to be highly visible or not.

fish oil is an oil and paint won't adhere to it as ell as using a rust converter. If you Go to a Dulux paint shop ask for ferronite. it is a rust converter that we use in the industrial sector and works very well. let dry for about 20 min, then paint over however you want.
