Ok, not a motoring thread, but fair dinkum Qantas have gone to shite.
For those of us out West, having a decent National Airline is an important part of staying connected. We can't just hop in the car, bus, or train. Adelaide is 3 days drive, with sod all in between. Remember the days when your MEAL came on a tray, with a roll, a little salad, something for desert, and those all-important cheese & crackers. Now it just comes in a little cardboard box. I now understand why they built a Maccas near the Qantas terminal, because after that slop, even a Big Muck seems edible. I used to travel Internationally with Singapore Airlines, and their lounges were awesome. Plenty of food, and plenty of choices. We were "upgraded" to the Business Lounger, as the Qantas Club was closed. There our meal choices were Chicken-Tonight, or DIY toasties. And it seems they've given up on buying new planes, they were all beat to hell. I'd expect this crap from Jetstar or Tiger.
