Ecoboost Durability

Firstly, I have done a search both here on the forums and on Google but couldn't really find much feedback.

Am doing some research for the olds that are looking at getting a new car. They are tossing up between either a Forester, CX5, FG G6/G6E or VF Calais, so I have done significant research on all four this afternoon. It's the first time I have done some solid reading about the Ecoboost donk in the Falcon and it's great to see it's getting so many good write ups. I was wondering how many members here actually have one, or know someone who has one?

I am a little concerned about longer term durability. They are likely to keep the car for probably the next 10 years. Everyone knows how solid the I6 is, but the Ecoboost is still very new to market and has significantly more tech in it which I see as potentially more stuff to go wrong, and at a larger cost to repair than the I6.

I know it's hard to talk about long-term durability for a motor that's only been on the market for 18 months, but have there been many niggly problems to date?
