A QLD-based importer has been given approval to assemble Ford's F Series trucks and sell them locally. As I'm sure most of you are aware, the F Series proved a sales hit when Ford sold in here a few years ago (but had to withdraw it from the market due to changes to the emission rules).
You've been able to bring them over and have them converted to RHD but it seems that these guys are going to do that all for a lot less money. They're claiming a RRP of under $100K which is reasonable. Anyway it would be nice to see them being sold through Ford dealers but I guess Ford get paid indirectly.
