2008 LT Focus TDCi Intercooler

Hi guys,

Need some advice.
Recently had my car serviced and the report came back that i need to replace the intercooler.
Am looking to do it myself and was just wondering if anyone has done this.
Also should i just stick to a replacement standard intercooler or should i go with an aftermarket high performance one?
Will i get any benefits from an AM one or should i just stick to what's there already
Can anyone recommend any good intercoolers??
