The US testing considers several different collision tests and a roll over. Both the Mustang and Camaro received mostly "GOOD" ratings (highest rating) and 1 "ACCEPTABLE" rating (mid rating).

However for the 2017 model year the Mustang does not have lane change avoidance or self braking. I don't know about the Camaro yet.

The 2018 Mustang will have both of these features.

So snap up the 2017,s so you can continue to DRIVE! .....rather than steer some gimmick ridden thing with alarms constantly chirping away at you, and be proud that you still have the ability to operate a mustang in the way it was designed to be
