Dimmu Borgir, Satyricon, Arcturus, Amorphis, Bathory, Godgory, Devin Townsend, Old Man's Child, Opeth, Ragnarok etc. way too many to mention.
There's heaps of awesome bands if you look beyond all the commercial pop shyte.
