These are the 2 posters we'll be using for the All Ford Day. Many thanks to big_pete for his amazing talents and lots of work on these, sorry i wrote all over them :.
Please tell me what you think, any suggestions etc? Please dont send these around until they are approved by those with business logos etc on them. Im just posting them up because i want your opinions on them - would you stop and have a look if you saw one?

I'd go the top one, just because there isn't so much yellow in it, bit of a balance with colours if ya get me.

The second one would appeal to a family man, with the kid in the picture, but I think the one that will grab most people would be the one with the flames and chrome.
Bloody good work Aust, 10 out of 10!

I agree. Too much orange/yellow in the bottom one so the top pic gets my vote

Guys we're using 2, its not a case of pick 1 from the 2. Both of them will be used.
I kinda like the Yellow cos it stands out - I stuck one on a mate's window in the main street here and it certainly did stick out a bit, which is good.

Let me know when it's ok to use them, I'll print one out to put in The Dragon Lady's shop window.

In general the layout looks good though there seems theres alot of info-details to process and the main "come and grab me " message doesnt stand out,[kind of cluttered or the eye has nowhere to follow] maybe play with different colours in the text or type sizes or both .I think there good but not quite there , all the best , good work.

I like em and would check em out if I saw em ! Is there any chance of getting a hold of at least one of each for my Ford memorabilia collection ! We miss out on heaps of stuff up here in Darwin ! Wish i could come down for it ! I was at the 1988 Wagga Street Nats! What a weekend. Its the only time in my life I have ever seen the coppers read the riot act ! I still cant see why they did. It would have been more appropriate to just keep up a larger police presence. It was a fun night. I was nearly arrested cause the cops thought I may have been the bloke who did the Burnout thru the servo about 6 pm on saturday night in the F100! I must admit I was in the thick of the smoke trying to get a couple of pictures!
Good luck with the event and everyone just have a fun time !

I think that they are both great but if pressed, I'd have to say that the top one is the best.

Time slip has been in the database since it ran that time as listed., and based that it was limited to 5000 and not on NOS i am happy to make that claim, want to disprove it I am listening. Dan sold his car and is somewhere else but it was not a t series. Are you going on the day or showing your car?

Thanks for all the opinions guys. For those wanting some we should be able to arrange that - once they're printed I will see how many are left and if need be get some more done, im keeping a few too.
Re Laminge's car. Im quite happy to leave it on there as the Minginator is a very big drawcard - I know Ive been hanging out to see it in the flesh for a long while now, and others I have spoken to are the same. It will be Gary's decision as to whether he wants it to stay on there or not. If he does, I like Tibbo's idea (sorry it was late and i was stuffed so i just knocked these up in about 15 mins each . And about Dan's Turbo - its not his anymore as far as i am aware..... Annnnnnnnnnyway. Looks like these will be the ones we use then!

Aust just incase you miss it, the 2nd flyer has celebrating spelt wrong
And I think it is Fords' not Ford's.. iirc the apostrophe goes after the "s" if it is plural possessive. <-- been years since school, maybe someone can confirm that "Celebrating Fords' Finest" ...

Thanks for the replies all - Tibbo you are a lifesaver, thanks for picking up that typo as I completely missed it. The apostrophe is in the right spot though : :
I'll give them one more go-over to correct the mistakes etc and then put them back up. After tomorrow afternoon they will be free to download to anybody who wants them, please just be careful about where you put them (dont harass people to put em up etc) but otherwise go for it. For those who want copies of the posters sent to them, PM me and we might be able to arrange something. Perhaps a donation towards the AFD will get some sent to you :P.

Well after a few hours of swearing at the pc for shutting down halfway through redoing them (did that about 5 times , i think ive got them.
Going to sit here now and double check them for mistakes (please god no more), and tomorrow they'll be off to the printers. I'm getting about 550 done, if you would like some sent to you, please post here and I will see what we can do. No promises as first and foremost they are for advertising the show and they do have to be distributed elsewhere, but if there is enough left I'll start sending them out. You'll have to cover postage though because I'm doing a fair bit already and it all costs money. Here are the new versions: If there any typos or mistakes, I'm going to shoot myself.... :.....
