Evo IX over STi
Have driven both, and while they are both super impressive in stock form, the Evo has a little more advanced AWD system and just outpoints the Sti. Just. On the pro for the STi it has a slightly softer and more livable interior and does not feel as stripped down and raw as the Evo. On the pro side for the Evo it has the voice recognition security as standard which is great, and just feels a fraction more connected to the road than the STi.

I know my stock standard F6 ute went quicker than all the WRXs and Evos at a track day last weekend :->

WRX all day every day for me.
Over the years I had 4 of them, The last 2 being a 2 door and 4 door STI. A little go carty for everyday use, but for a squirt or track day, you are the King. Easy sub 5 second 0-100 times, back in 1999 that was Porsche turbo territory.... Believe it or not I traded my last STI for my current BA GT. I swapped a burble for a rumble, a go kart for a lounge chair. I miss it, but don't regret it.

Call me biased since were on a ford site but both those cars look ugly as sin and sound **** house when you unfortunatley here them coming but to answer the first question id go evo because theres not as many getting around and has been said to many wrx pretenders getting around gives the real ones a bad name.
