Not sure.. certainly beat LS1's to 80kph and probably would have given the Boss a scare too.. I just never street dragged that much to be honest.

Good on you casper keep it N/A and show everyone that the big old straight sixes still have some life left in them.

I will keep going on mine too.

You got to keep trying new things to stay in front. You started a lot of people off on the JMM track then Hamo showed the way with G&D so interesting to see what they can do with a VCT Auto as its a different challenge.

I got some new things coming this year too but all N/A.

At the time JMM were the leaders.. but G&D simply have done more R&D lately and have become the No.1 AU I6 tuners. Hamo's car was the start but there is so much more to go.
Give me 12 months (or give me a few grand and 1 month) and wait till you see what we have in store. Its going to see some jaws drop.
Its one thing to go fast at the track, its another to go that fast in a car that is a TRUE street car that is engineered to high levels and is totally happy to putter down to the shops with the kids in the back and the shopping in the boot.
No light weight stripper drag car here. This is a real street car that will be quick.

If its force fed, people expect it to go fast, when a worked n/a 6 rocks up and demolishes an Ls1 or Fpv people will be jaw dropped and staring in disbelief.. people wont be expecting that!

I have some goals for this car, some targets I plan to get to. This is the first journey to reach those goals and I can assure your that even stock XR8's and XR6T's will think twice about a "traffic light drag" to the speed limit now. :evil3:

This is about to step into the "project car" arena anyhow. It will be totally drivable and, for the moment, insurable. It will be the next round of mods that those crazies at G&D have thought up that will be the insurance issues. Even then though, they may be ok.
You have to remember this is not some "slap it on and go" type mods. This is all very much top of the line engineed stuff we are looking at in the future.

As for this round of mods... insurance will not be an issue.

Yes from Mt Eliza!!! of course where no respected family would want to have their no 1 son locked up in Dandenong for being a hoon in a bright yellow (mustard) pacer wog car. Had to move to Sydney where I still had a good licence!! (paper in those days and no computers) to save them all from the shame. I know your end of Melbourne well I used to run some great top speed runs down Eramosa road and my favourite fang was up and down two bays road then a bit of rallying through the quarry there.

Probably a lot less than most people on here will expect. The amount of speculation is getting pretty funny and the red herrings I've thrown about have certainly made it interesting.

Lets just say that this is stage 1.. a new evolution. Stage 2 and 3 will be where the really interesting changes occur.
