Default Clear indicators for Fairlane/LTD

Hi all, yes this is another clear indicator thread, we haven't had one for a while so I'm sure you're all excited.

Anyway, I hit a bloody kangaroo with the ol' crate on my way out to Glenmaggie for the easter weekend (hit it 2 mins before I arrived), and the bloody mongrel took out my left headlight, indicator, damaged the guard slightly, but nothing I can't punch out, and warped the bumper a little, as well as cracking a fair bit of the paint on the bumper which is now peeling off.

I was wondering if anybody knows which places sell the clear indicators for these things in the melbourne area. I know SSS Automotive do but they're in bloody Campbellfield, Rmyers and I have fond memories of that trip (NOT!) hehe... Anything closer to Dandenong, like that mob in Kilsyth that sells Falcon indicators?

Cheers all!

Alex

Hi Goodz, how you doin mate? Sorry to hear about the accident :(
Which indicators are you referring to, the ones next to the headlights, or the guard flashers on the front quarter panel?

Yeah it was a bit of a shame, but I think I was lucky, I hit the thing at 100km/h without slowing down so I didn't do too badly. I should've skinned it and put it in the freezer, could've had a skippy BBQ!

I'm talking about the indicator next to the headlight.

You wouldn't have to freezer it if you put that bloody frypan on the exhaust like I suggested.

Like YOU suggested?!!! THAT WAS MY IDEA! Besides, I wasn't going to cook it in the dark beside the road when I'm 2 mins away from a nice big fireplace with a grill on it.

lol @ both of ya

Anyway Alex, there's a few places you can check out. I know you can get em online for 35 dollars each: www.ozeparts.com.au

You could try somewhere like Ferntree Gull Auto Salvage who might have a pair (pretty close to dandenong).

At worst you could even try your local Ford Dealer :O

Cheers,
Julza

I contacted both ozeparts.com.au and SSS automotive, they're both one company as it turns out... They are on 3 weeks back order, so might have to keep searching I think.
