If you look under the Committe Information thread you'll see there is none currently:

Many have tried to take on this job, put in a huge effort and quit out of frustration at the eternal lack of interest. Anyone is free to organise any unofficial events that comply with our regulations, and if there is reasonable success over a period we will definitely look at voting in a NSW Rep as it will be proven worth our while.

Probably easier to just tie in with Fordmods when it comes to cruises in NSW.

Mate you said the Fordmods word on Ford Forums are you mate you will be shot now.......LOL.

Yeah but the only reason they are successful at getting decent cruises is cause they have cruise reps that make cruises and get people interested

There arent that many eseries people here. I have been with this club for yonks and its always been that way in Sydney. This club isnt going to crack the shits cos i suggested doing this with another forums, these blokes run with ls1, R31 Skyline club on the odd occasion. And i am noticing more and more blokes both here and at FM that contribute to both forums

I would have though there'd be a huge contingent of people in NSW with e-series..

I wonder why it hasn't taken off there like it has in adelaide/melbourne, etc..

I've been here for over 2 years myself from back int he fordforum.com days and ive seen many members come and go. All due to lack of events and activites and interest. The reason fordmods and tickford are so appealing is they have regualr events and meets, a structure system tot he club, a 3 monthly or something magazine, etc and what does e-series have? thats jsut my 2 cents

Hiya Chris darlin',

There are very few e-series in the Sydney area who are actually part of AFF. We are hopelessly outnumbered by AUs & BAs (as Brent and I discovered at the NSW meet - out of 28 cars, 3 of us were e-series - we had an XF and a Cortina who joined us up there).

There are a heap of e-series out on the roads, it's just a matter of getting to them and making them realise that we are here. Hence why soon I am going to get off my butt and buy a sticker or two and advertise a little (and they're not bad looking stickers : ).

On the other side of the coin, I kinda enjoy being a rarity

If it came down to it, I don't mind putting my hand up for the job, but only if there are really enough of us to make it work.

Otherwise, I'm moving to Melbourne cos they rock (oh, and are cute too) :sm_headba

All those ideas are great, but the effort involved is huge!

Ferule Monkey and Myself have planed a cruse, its a Full day starting at 8:30am in a 3FB location at Blacktown as a meeting point, then we head off, you will need a full tank of fuel! about 350k's worth, with stops allong the way and finishing up with dinner, there are rather nice roads most of us will really enjoy and we are hoping for around a 30 car turnout or more :P.

It is a mystery cruse so i am not sayin any more, we are still deciding on a date and will prolly be a saturday and you can bring the family.

I find it really hard to get Ford owners to do much lately except for the regulars, so lets try and get a large group for this one, if it works out we dont mind scouting cruses more often.

Keep ya eyes out in the 3FB section of the forums for updates and we should have all the details up by the end of the week.

Will be a great cruse

Agreed on all points.

I don't mean to sound defeatist but I have many a time appointed one person or another as NSW rep, put in every effort and then heard back with the usual reports that only 1 person showed out of 20 who said they'd be there. I do suggest Fordmods, 3FB, general AFF and any other cruises where you will be welcomed, and if we start to feel it is justifiable arranging meets on a regular basis, then that will be made a priority.

As for the newsletter idea, it has again been done but proved a huge task to keep up to date, especially remembering we are national. It will hopefully make a comeback, but we'd be relying on volunteers and it's a lot easier to criticise (even constructively) than to keep up to date with such a substansial task.
