OK EVERYONE:
get to mess.be and download the mess patch for msn 7.0.777. It will rmeove all ads and ad other functionality (like the song playing thing, lets you use winamp etc, message booster, nudge disabler, gets rid of tabs and "premium services" button etc) it's really worth it, and makes this crock of shit less shitty. |

I just deleted Windows Messenger and got MSN Messenger 7.0. Man, the BETA was cool, but this is shite. Its all big and stupid and weird, and there's 50 zillion adds, the song showing thing don't work with WinAMP and yeah. Though, handwriting rocks!

Steffo, it does work with winamp you have to restart it for it to work.
Msn 7 + messenger plus + mess patch = good combo you get extra games, custom sounds and heaps of other good shit, I've had mess patch on my messengers versions for ages and its good shit. |

Yeh MSN Plus and Mess Patche are great, i cant stand an unpatched MSN. Who has worked out how to make 7 personalized message songs to work with Winamp. Mine works with Winamp and people keep asking me how i did it, but i dont know it just works for me.

Mess.be does something weird with their site so that link does work

it lets you run two instances of messenger, but you have to use two DIFFERENT profiles...you can't sign in with the same profile twice...
EDIT: profile = passport... sorry :P |

I finally sorted out the problem I was having with mine. Polygamy works fine now. Still don't know what the problem was. Thanks to Selekta for your help.  :
