No way. Unless they are factory fitted, self-levelling and have wipers.

I like to think of it this way, archaic regulations just haven't caught up to today's reality. has anyone running them had any discolouration or heat issues? |

though i am unsure how much of that was the xenon kit and how much of it was the fact that they were non gen headlights im running one of these kits in a pair of BMW projectors in my lane, and they're fine.......had no issues. im about to do a propper retrofit (oem projectors, balasts and capsules) and im investigating height leveling as well... after running one of these kits myself (perhaps not this brand, but all the cheap chinese xenon kits are the same ), and then driving an accord euro with factory xenon headlights.....i can safely say that the chinese kits are alright, but an oem xenon setup sh|ts all over them IMO, i wouldnt bother without using them inside projector headlights, the glare and hotspots/crazing of light is shocking |

eerything euro has had xenon headlights for years........if they blinded everyone, theres no way in hell they'd be legal in europe let alone here the way i see it is.....if lights were the "day light lights" as you put them, and they released lights with a yellowy tinge, people would complain.... i bet people complained when the first dual filament headlight globes were released.....they are now commonplace my opinion only is people dont like change, and feel the need to complain about something... xenon / HID headlights are good......very good..... IMO get used to it as the technology is getting cheaper, and is starting to me more widely used the new caprice now has xenon headlights, it wont be long before it filters down to being in everything |

personally, i wouldnt really bother, unless you have the know-how to strip your lights and add some projectors to fit the HID to.
projectors are really the only way to go |

I have them in my Subaru (factory fitted with levelling switch in the cabin, but no wipers). They are a reflector lens also, not a projector. They are absolutely brilliant. The contrast between a halogen globe and a true HID globe are like chalk and cheese. Cheap kits can be bought on ebay for around $200 and most are just plug 'n' play setups. Pretty easy upgrade really. Just remember to align your lights properly.
To those who complain about them, they're here to stay, won't be too long until they're ADR compliant either. Try driving a car fitted with them at night and then compare your old "yellow" halogens ![]() Matty BTW. don't bother with anything above 6000K, it's the best for natural light. Anything higher and it starts becoming a lot bluer moving towards purple.

the main prob with high output high wattage headlights is not the output but the alignment off them, I can buy cheap H4 inserts for my dual round headlight set up but they are made for european (left hand drive) market and would blind everyone coming towards me, thats why Iam saving for a proper set for right hand drive

a few manufacturers use them (lexus and Mercedes Benz spring to mind as the most common) |
