There is nothing creepy about gmail, that site is crap. Looks whos running hotmail... I would trust Google over MSN anyday.

well read the laws. after 180days or something they dont have to protect your privacy or something along the lines, gmail encourages NOT TO DELETE :P

What you posted is totally out of context. After 180 days any emails on Googles database are no longer considered private correspondance but are delegated to being database entries and therefore can be looked at by government officials with only a subpeona instead of requiring a warrant. The guy who wrote this article is a dipshit, all he's trying to do is induce panic in people (that seems to be the "in thing" in America right now). As a whole I think the article is bullshit, although I found the section about the "relevant" advertisements rather interesting.

I dont have a gmail account mainly cos im just so used to Hotmail and i find Yahoo really weird to use. That and i have no complaints with what i get/have now, so if it aint broke.......
