Don't bother with the cam on it's own, the power difference won't be noticable. Even with the ECU it won't do much.
Better off to fit a exhaust/extractors if you haven't already. If you want to fit a cam, use a JMM or Wade cam, at least you will feel a big difference. Rick.

It is cheaper, though it also gives you far less.
An XR6 performed better also due to bigger exhaust valves, better flowing head, and a shorter diff ratio. The cam and ECU on it's own will do very little. Good headers and exhaust on it's own will provide more power than an XR6. Rick.

A better option in my opinion would be to go for a Stock EF/L cam.
I put one of these in Roosta's ED Futura, and it made a noticable differance. The EF/L stock Cam is basically the same specs as the EB/D XR6 cam, but with less lift. It would also be cheaper.

Speaking of cams, my car is in need of a new one, garage is going to give me a good deal on price for parts & labour costs. What's a really good brand for performance versus price? Already have extractors and exhaust, car has done 290,000.

Wouldn't bother with a Crow Stage 2, very doughy down low and not much up the top either. This was in an auto mind you, manual might have been slightly better, but there are better cams out there.
