Default air flow

just wondering,
to all you guys out there with stainless pipes running from the air box to the engine(?)...where did you get it and how much was it?
im wanting one...but the dude at Casey exhaust wants about $200 for a 3" mandrel bent s/s pipe....
other options?
better ways to spend my money?

Stainless pipe can be purchased from exhaust shops, or you can buy alluminium from Supercheap.

mine was from diflillipo. cant remeber how much. its 3inch, mandrel bent, and ceramic coated.

iv had this same problem i cant find anyone who will do the whole lot they all want to retain some of the plastic or tell me that it wont fit but how many of people have it done

stainless steel is pretty expensive. maby just get non stainless and find a way to keep rust off as much as possible.

I went to the local motorcycle bike making exhaust shop said ill give ya $250 bucks to make me up a stainless steel mandrel bent pipe from my t/b to airbox he said no worry's order the bends from pacemaker and welded it together chucked it on beauty its not ceramic coated and im not trying to cause a debate but the air wont be in there long enough to be to effected by the heat.
