![]() HE GOT OWNED??? Are you that immature that, not only can you not take responsibility for your own actions, that you remark that you own him??? How does make you any different from those idoits on t.v.? The answer is, it doesn't. On this point, you've lost me! You want to go out on a limb and then saw the branch off, and expect people to respect you, you're crazier than i am! I have not and will not sink to the level of disrespecting an officer of the law (whether they're acting inappropriatly or not) We have the right of recourse, and you've abused that system because your ego is so big. GROW UP!!! You act like a f....wit, then you deserve to get caught. Period. |

well police also should act professional. too many times ive just had an breathalyzer chucked in my mouth and told to blow. sure i know what it is bout but they say they follow procedure then they should go through the whole thing and not just shove it in your mouth (a guy recently got off drink driving charges even admitting to drink driving, but the police didnt follow the correct procedure)
if they constantly harass people then why shouldnt they expect anything back (although maybe not as abusive as some people would let it rip). also if you question a cop they call you a smartass. if you dont query these things you may get done for something thats completely unfair. I got pulled over for "speeding". COP says "do you what speed you were doin" ME "i was doin 60km/h which is the posted speed limit and was not speeding". COP "says i know you were" ME "do you have any evidence in regards to that like a radar reading" his response was "no i do not, i just know" can you call this professional!! he then proceeded to examine my wheels, exhaust, engine, tyres, rideheight all of which are legal. how many cops do this to people who dont have mods. there are a lot more normal cars that are in unroadworthy state compared to modded ones i bet. after that i got a breath test and was let go with the cop saying expect a fine in the mail for <=15kms/h over. never got it. maybe woke up and realize he had nothing. i didnt swear or use an agressive tone. not only was this guy saying that i was speeding the only time i saw him was when i turned into my street. even before that he wouldnt of even been able to do a side by side or from behind judgement as it was round a bend where he claims i was speeding. There was no one behind me there or after the bend. just think he wanted a reason to pull me over and try defect me. sometimes it doesnt matter what tone or language you use some cops still wont be professional. If i have done something wrong and they have proof then i will take the blame but if some cop is trying to book me for nothing im well in my rights to question the claim. |

Some of you who aren't from Sydney may not fully appreciate just how bad/scarey some of these idiots are. I'm a Qld lad now living in Sydney and my family are shocked every time they face some of the very open ethnic "dislike" that some of these minorities have against everyone who isn't like them. I was living in Greenacre (yes, while the religious based rapes were occurring), and my parents were disgusted and eventually too scared to walk around the local shops. This wasn't the older generation, but the teenage/ 20 somethings who made them feel like 2nd class citizens (and were quite open to voicing this to their "friends"). I was glad when we could afford to buy our own place and leave the area. These people are a menace to society and the sooner the problem is fixed the better. Oh, I'm married to an immigrant who came here after qualifying for refugee status, so no, I don't harbour any hatred to these ethnic groups, just the d!ckhead few you get in every community.

All i can say is typical show pony Lebs. Showing off for a camera.
SUCKED IN to them for the cops defecting them. Poor cops taking that sh1t from them like that. Drag em to gaol and pistol whip the F**kers just like the old days ![]() Get some Rodney King action down on them As much as we dont like getting fined and stuff, you have to respect thier authority. Afterall they are just doing thier jobs, they're our mates/brothers/sisters/aunties/uncles/mums and dads... ect. "Cops R Tops" after all...

while i agree with you 2nd owner and i have no gripes with them getting even, i would like to say that unless you have had a run in like myself and a few others here that think cops R tops is far from the truth
yes majority are mates, brothers, sisters, aunties, uncles, mums and dads, some are also single rest of family dispise them and are truely arrogant arseholes who seem to like to take their own hate out on those who will cop it the most, i have even herd some officers single out HWP or certain officers as not being part of the QLD police or police in general as they give them a bad rap. point intails that the majority of cops would do anything for the general public and unfortunatly sometimes their hands are tied by the powers at be, but a select few simply do not deserve the job of representing the legal system of qld or australia.

Personally, I thought the coppers restrained themselves very well, considering they had those dickheads in their faces as well as the cameras watching every move they made. Just remember one thing, the coppers will have all those young guys details, they will know where they live, what they drive, etc and the cameras will get turned off, so just because the smartarses got away with it on camera, the police officers will get them again another day. Many years ago when I was a copper we had some local hoons who thought they got the better of us - threatening to punch our lights out, kill us and all sorts of other threats. But the one thing they forgot in all their bravado was we knew where they lived and what they drive and all of them lived within our district. Now, I am not suggesting we went out of our way and belted them or anything like that, but the one way we punished them was where it hurt the most, by taking their pride and joy from them - their cars. They ended up in court, lost their cars, licenses and out of pocket condiserably. I had one of thier mothers actually approach me in the court and thank me for taking a strong stand against these dicks because she felt he was going to end up killing himself or someone else or spend a good part of his life in jail. The majority of coppers are good people, but tell me is any job worth getting abused constantly, your life potentially threatened on a daily basis or actually dying for?? And all for what - a basic wage?

Its just discusting, and it is all because it is kewl to be an imbosile. If the people they looked up to behaved better then we wouldnt be here.
It makes me ashamed to be a car enthusiast when people who couldnt give a rats *** about cars buy them so as to be in trend. And as for the behaviour toward the police... their number plates were broadcasted into every state of Australia, lets hope the phone books come out next time the cops pull them over and the channel 9 cameras arent there

Yeah just downloaded the vid. Yeah all these people are giving themselves a bad name and of course when they do this theyre gonna attract attention to them selves. And if your gathered in a remote location in masses then of course the cops are going to assume its not all legit. As for the comments made to police. If your gonna have ilegal mods on your car then expect a fine.
And that guy talkn bout how hes skyline is stock. As if. I think cops have pulled over enough skylines and WRXs to know whats stock and what isnt (Knowing whats legal and whats not is a different thing though i think). Those cars themselves attract cops and having P plates on them doesnt help (not saying its right) and the people (or DICKHEADS) driving them should make sure its legal. But you dont have to have a modded car to drop a burnout or race. Its not hard to do a burnout. Just have the handbrake up, give it some gas, and drop the clutch. WOW i think most L drivers can do burnouts before they can actually drive. As for saying that these blokes work hard for their cars. Well Im sure some of them do but i bet a lot of them are funded by illegal activities or have a huge debt. I did think the cops were too soft. As for the dude saying its not worth it that BS. If they think that way then whats the point of being a cop. It is worth it if you get some cocks of the street and see how funny it is when their car is being towed. ****ing dumbshits. Hopefully the only people they kill would be themselves and not anyone innocent. The bystanders arent innocent either. Isnt spectating illegal aswell? Thats where most people get encouraged to do stupid shit. Inciting and organizing racing burnouts or whatever is illegal aswell. All dropkicks. You would think theyd have something better to do. Imagine all the money that would be saved on fines if they kept to the track. Some people just dont learn and doesnt matter how you say it some peoples heads are too thick to get through. As for disgracing ANZAC day, well they can just **** off out of this country as it is dear to a lot of people of Australia. They know they wouldnt get away with this shit back home so they do it here. It because we have too much freedom and they abuse it. Those type of people are a disgrace to themelves, their country and ours. |

The cops just cant say well these rules apply for this group of people and these rules apply for another group of people. That is why they are coming down hard through no fault on anyone particular, just that they wont this type of behavior to stop. Funny there were no arrests and I think Ken Moroney said that there should of been.

Guys Australia should look at a country like Hong Kong.
Zero tollerance. Here's what the Hongky coppers would do... or what they do here. A. Have foot patrols in operation, walkie talkie any mishap to their boys who are waiting in Vans, normally 5 vans X 10 Coppers per van. B. Vans rock up, arrest everybody, into the van and sort it out "downtown". C. If you're not doing anything wrong, you're not gonna get in trouble. I've noticed that there seems to be a total lack of respect back at home now for the police. Give them more power, bigger guns, and more supply of staff, crack down and show WHY they are the police. It's not the fault of the police, it's the government who controls spend. It's unfair to critisize a proffession when you are not involved in it, and only on the bad end of the stick when you've done something wrong 90% of the time. I understand there are bad police out there, it's human nature, not every industry has 100% perfect staff. I've been done speeding once, 8kmph over, yep, i was speeding.... paid the fine. As for if the police having to look you in the eye.......... what the f#$k else do you want?? coffee?? tea???? They just want to perform thier duty and let you go on about your business. I don't want to be breathalized and sit there running a big donk engine, and chew through petrol, get it over and move along i say. ACA has some good stuff some times, but it is commercialised and it looks like they're doing a good job selling the story to alot of people... not that i'd agree with anything they say. Hooroo.... k from what i understand about the 2 different stories (the killings at the rocks and the ****s making lots of smoke and noise with their little toys) is that the gunshots came from two (2) modded up cars, a black bmw and a black or dark blue volvo (small car) so yeah there is the connection people got shot and killed from some modded up cars so anyone with a modded car is a danger.....

Police have power to impound and sieze cars for "activity associated with street racing". Why dont they enforce these laws? Siezed cars are re-keyed and given new VIN and registration numbers, then sold cheaply at police auctions. The previous owner has a slim chance of finding his car. These Lebs would have spent big $$$ on modifying these cars.
If I was that copper taking abuse from that guy wanting to fight, I would have cracked him a beauty in the jaw. That would have shut him up! |

Reason it is not enforced is because you need to establish without any doubt that they were street racing before you take their car. If theyre only fangig it round and you dont actually catch them in the act, it can be very difficult to prove they were actually 'street racing' and not just being stupid.
There is also a LOT of paperwork to be done when impoudning a car.

Most times the coppers turn up flash the lights and everyone heads off, imagine the shitfight that would be caused if people knew they going to take cars even if your just watching. People would be going everywhere and i'd bet money people would get seriously hurt. They wouldn't be hanging around to get caught. Unless its a huge hit that was planned in advance with a heap of cars it doesn't work more harm comes than good. |

I found this out when I questioned the fact that the car was complied in 1992 and found out that the car was theft-recovered. This car was stolen and re-birthed (is a '57 Chev). When it was recovered, the police gave it a new set of numbers and returned it to him. He gave me a RTA issued certificate Stating that the new VIN was issued by them.
My friend has a EF with the same deal. He bought it from a police auction. His VIN does not start with "6FPAAA..." but instead his VIN follows a similar pattern to mine. |

i dont know who did it but the little car was "modded" only the basics like lowered body kit and rims. SA just brought in the rule today that your car gets impounded for the 1st offence 2 offence then sold on the 3rd offence and proceeds go to VCA (Victims of Crime Association) that should slow them a bit i guess

While those "lebanese gentlemen" (so to speak) are just w#@kers...
It was ALL a BIG put on for the camera's.. !!!! A Current Affair know that they will get this kind of footage and go with it... All about their ratings I have been to the rocks in sydney, and hung around a bit down in that area near the docks, except for a couple of P platers doing silly U turns... its really not that bad... Im sure there are occasions that that type of thing happens to the police... but 90% of that (atleast 90%) was all done because they wanted to be TV stars... typical loudmouths that they are... |

Ive said it before.... there is a website www.strathycruise.com where the enthusiasts and cops all work together and meet up at a particular park and all just hang out.... its better having everyone in a controlled environment chilling with friends then having them on the road...
