Why is everyone talking up the Aurion, saying they love the quality. Its the worst drivers car out of all the locals. Wheels rated it last in its recent BFII, VE, 380 comparo. I'd rather give up a tiny bit of quality for a car thats not a marshmellow on wheels. I had 2 BA XR8's and a Territory Ghia and the only problem I had was a noisey PS pump on one of the XR8's, which was replaced. Its all luck of the draw, and no Toyota is perfect either.

YOOT is correct. Most people want a car just to get them places. They are not enthusiasts therefore they only care about reliable transport as they see a car as another tool. This is where Toyota's products appeal to these masses. The typical Toyota driver won't spend hours on Toyota dedicated forums. For example have you ever seen a thread about somebody restoring a 1960s or 1970s Toyota model? We car enthusiasts are in the minority. If I was running a car company I'd (unfortunately) aim for the mundane masses like Toyota does as this is where you are more likely to succeed.
