Wasn't there to see the reaction. We offered Falcon, Focus (sedan), Camry, Mazda 6 as alternatives and she asked for a VE.

Honestly, I thought it was nice when it turned up last week, but yesterday it went back to the dealer as the ABS died. (not even 1 week old...)

No, the numbers are genuine as supplied by FAPM. I typed the wrong months. They should read:

April 2007 - 179
May 2007 - 480.

I'd get rid of her. A person who makes bad car selections must have dubious business acumen. :togo:

It was the Lumina, it's one of those limited edition deals where they just throw a few accessories on and add a couple of badges...

To be honest I was very impressed when it arrived, I didn't mind the styling and the quality seemed good. The service from the dealer was fantastic!

Very dissapointing to have a week old car going back for a pretty serious fault....

I'll be interested to know what the fault was as Holden has been making a big deal about ESP being standard fittment to all VE models. Last thing they need is their main selling feature to be a dud.

I'll try and find out more. All I know is the ABS failure light came on, she rang the dealer and was told to get it to them immediately!

As far as I know there is no Lumina in the VE range.
