No need to apologise because I don't remember that either! lol.

One move I made that wasn't bright, was that I was already drunk when I got around to blowing up my airbed. I had a little pump that plugs into the car's cigarette lighter. My car has 3 of these lighters, and a grand total of 0 work! I ended up plugging it into Gavin's but it was still a bit of challenge when I could hardly walk straight!

i had a great time on the camp, i rode shotgun with mark_td the whole way, drinking a few travelers heading to glenmaggie. We arrived there about 1:30 am on saturday, and immediately got stuck into setting up camp. Steve provided some laughs straight away with an imitation of a frog. I was certain it was a real one moving around :( After camp was set up, and a couple of drinks later with wayne, it was 3:30! so just went to bed.

Ill write more later......

cheers
scott

i dont like the dirt roads either. Those pot holes were fair massive! Being in a lowered car on those roads was definately not a good idea but we made it back safe n sound and no major damage to cars...yet :P

One of the reasons why I didn't go any lower than lows. Driving down those dirts roads all the time, the underside of the EA wouldn't last too long if I went any lower!

I didn't take any photos at the camp but when I went on a bit of a cruise afterwards, I took these:

Lanigan's Bridge, just downstream from the Glenmaggie weir wall

And looking back upstream from Lanigan's Bridge. The Weir wall is clearly visible, and shows how close it is. It's easy to see when all the flood gates were open, why the bridge was destroyed. Also notice the water looks very brown. This is still from all the ash and debris that got washed down from the mountains during the bushfires.

And last but not least, at the Weir wall, we saw a rather interesting map of Victoria. It seems the makers of this map have no idea about the geography of Victoria.
