My wife and I are looking at getting a couple of reclining chairs for more seating at home (well I really want one) we are both about 30 (like age matters to get one ) , so who has one, and what have been your experiences.
My parents have electric recliners so nice, great when you have a blackout in full reclined mode .... LOL (need a UPS ).

I've got a Jason Rialto rocker/recliner in black leather. It's manual and not the most expensive model but it's really comfortable. Leather is really good and hasn't marked despite the best efforts of the dog with her nails.
It came in a box in two parts. It's really easy to put together and you don't need any special tools. Had it for a couple of years and still looks really good. Seat cushion feels like its sprung really well and foam is still good and well padded. You need space behind for it to recline. You can get some recliners that move forward as you recline so you can have them closer to the wall but I found them to be less comfortable than the Jason. |

If you have some 'big bucks' get a Moran wallsaver recliner...mmmm.
You can have them against the wall like a 'normal' chair but when you recline the chair it magically lifts itself away from the wall. Aahhh bliss. Whatever you get, make it leather. Easy to care for. Just get some leather conditioner and make sure you use it. |
