Default The Definitive Bladerunner release.

Treated myself to the 5 disc version of Bladerunner today, and I am now complete. I have the original 1982 theatrical release complete with Harrison Ford narratives, The final cut, and all in between. Just watched The Final Cut, followed by the the 1982 cinematic release, and I'm pumped. Blown away, ecstatic and happy to boot. Thank You Ridley Scott for the best versions of your best visions of a world gone mad.

And please forgive my ravings.... But I have waited long for this release!

How is the workprint version?
What are some of the differences from the Directors Cut?
Tell us more.

The Final Cut version is puurrrrfect. And in full 5.1 Dolby Digital. The 1982 cinematic release is equally beautiful and in 5.1. The rest I have yet to view, but with what I have watched, and the box set contents... I deem this version "Worth every penny"

Mmmmmm, I wish. No point for me as yet. I have to get some use out of my 50" Plasma before I get a 1080P. Probably 18 months before I upgrade to Full HD. It will be in my top 5 purchases on the new format. As far as players go, I will probably go with a hybrid player. I'm sure I read that someone had one that plays both formats.
