Default whats it worth

A friend of mine father as died recently he has a 1951 twin spinner ford sitting in his shed .It is all there,but would need restoration.I am interested in it ,but havent a clue what it would be worth . Could any body give me some advice

Hi bald1. My condolences to your friend. The Twin Spinner could be worth a fair bit depending on condition. Even in poor condition they can fetch a good bit of coin, but they make for a very kool cruiser and a very nasty Kustom should you choose to go down that path.

Yeah they seem to come out of nowhere hey when there is a classic piece of tin. If you really want it, negotiate a price that both partie's are happy with. That way you wont feel like you have short changed them and they will be happy also.

$1500 for a bare bones rolling shell thats seen better days, 3-5k for a very good restorer up to $20k for a restored. From what you have said at a guess about 4K

at $4k I will take 2, sold a twin spinner complete , driveable/registerable...but needing a resto last yr for $12k no advertising (word of mouth) to the 1st person that heard/looked at it....sold it for economic reasons at the time :(

technically not a single spinner but....1952 Mainline insured over 3 x times that amount and had very healthy offers for it
