G'day all,
I feel really stupid asking this! : How on earth does the EF T-Bar screw onto the EA shifter ..shaft.. thing? I mean it screws on and all, but it doesn't seem to go down far enough for the rod in the middle to push the button out? I bet there's a really obvious answer here that I'm missing here! :tool: Thanks guys! |

Yer, you need to get the longer rod from an EF, then just play around with the lock nut until it sits at the right height to operate properly.

Just a bit of resolution on this one guys, I grabbed a rod from the EF I got the shifter from and it still wasnt long enough! Ended up welding a bit onto the end of the rod and bending it a bit more and it was fine

Pushrod? That's something that only dodgy old motors have, isn't it? You know, like commodores and stuff? :p

I got a piece of threaded rod from Mitre 10 and bent it into shape. Worked a treat in the EB.
