Question escort build codes

Hi. Just wondering if anyone knows where i can get a list of escort build codes??
mine is a BC ESCORT SEDAN
prefix body-- CKPUR
Model 11739
SIdo-- 191295
don't know what sido means.
any help would be appreciated

11739 is a 2.0 litre Ghia Sedan built between mid 1977 and the end of 1978.

The SIDO numbers stands for Single Item Dealer Order and is an internal number used by Ford to represent the car. Unfortunately it is also a number that is re-used and thus not completely unique.

well dose any one know wat the p on the end of my escort VIn No would mean?
been trying to find out for a while and anyone whos owned escort has know idia.

It's unusual to say the least - the last digits of a VIN number under either of the applicable standards are supposed to be a sequential number although those standards weren't adopted by everyone until the late 70's. PM me with the entire number and I will see what I can establish.
