Default Spanner on the dash

Hio can anyone tell me how to get rid of the spanner on the dash after servicing my EL XR6? I serviced my car and am sick of looking at the little spanner every time i drive the car!!!

Hold down the odomoter reset for 10-15 seconds. Its in the glovebox manual somewhere...

it will reset the odometer reading, but once the service light dissapears the odo reading will come back.

this was the first thing i asked when i got my car :P
