Default Lsd

hey guys
i have a 99 au fairlane ghia and it has a single spinner diff with traction control and independent rear suspension

now i was wondering if i can put an LSD in it from the XR's and what happens with traction control when i do this?
do XRs have an LSD AND traction control?

also can anybody give a rough estimate on the cost of a 2.5" exhaust.. extractors..LSD..chiptorque chip and XR intake snorkel

do XRs have an LSD AND traction control?
Traction control when on will negate the need for the LSD. When switched off it will work fine. When on it will retard the engine and brake the spinning wheel well before the LSD can transfer any power to the spinning wheel.

extractors and exhaust fitted $1000
XR snorkle fit yourself $35 from Ford spare parts
Chiptorque $595 fir yourself standard program only
LSD centre fitted $900. Think about spending $1500 and getting a 3.73 ratio swap as well so you could actually need the LSD

I agree with all prices there.

Except I paid $1000 for the LSD fitted.
I've been quoted $900 for extractors and exhaust (moving gas convertor) or $1200 with custom extractors (Not moving gas convertor).

so the LSD and traction control are ok together??

thats good to know

is the JMM dev3 VCT kit worth the $2000 odd from JMM??
or what companys in QLD have a similar kit? or would it work out easier to do it all separatly?(i live at morayfield so am fairly local to redcliffe dyno)

who would do the LSD conversion?? ford or any transmission/diff shop?

how do you fit the chiptorque chips?? i thought you had to solder it in? or is it plug and play??
