Watch the bracket on left hand side of the engine cover boys, eats throughA/c high pressure hoses like no tomorro, another ploy by ford to pinch a few dollars from the poor customer.
I just hammered the protruding part of the bracket and taped up the hose as a extra precaution. |

On the left sideof the engine next to the pwr steering pump the A/c hose is held by a curled bracket. send picks galore if I had digital camera.

I took mine off when I bought it for this very reason. It's the bracket just over the power steering filler cap.

Bingo thats the one. All au owners should be alerted this is a major problem especialy those rhat can't be stuffed peering under the bonnet!

Oh that one, there's no need to take it off, otherwise it would flop around and it does rub on the underfelt on the bonnet, I just bent the actual bracket a bit to follow the shape(direction) of the hose and then I put a few layer's of black electrical tape around it, no problem's with mine.
