Default South Coast Cruise - Sunday October 18

With the warm weather well and truly on its way, what better time to enjoy a cruise to the beautiful South Coast?

Meeting place is the Shell EPIC servo at Watson at 8.45am for a 9.00am departure. We'll cruise out via Macs Reef Road to Bungendore and then on through Braidwood and the Clyde Mountain to Batemans Bay.
We'll stop at the little town of Mogo (approx 10 minutes drive south of Batemans Bay) for morning tea and a chance to stretch our legs (great ice creams too!). We'll then continue south to Moruya, where we'll head out to the mouth of the Moruya River before heading north up the coast to Batemans Bay. We'll stop here for fish and chips overlooking the water before heading back to Canberra.

Total distance is approximately 360km.

If you'd like to join us for what should be a great trip, please add your name to the list (please put down how many people will be in your group so I can reserve seating for us at lunch).

Attending:

1) Richard & Nicole (2 attending)

Rosie and Dianne will be up for this one. Get back from Brissy on Sat so can fit this in before heading to Tassie on Tuesday. First event for the year.

Ok everyone, see you at the Shell EPIC at 8.45am Sunday for a 9.00am departure. Weather on the coast is supposed to be fine, sunny and 20 degrees which is good news!

A few things to note:

• Don't forget your UHF radio (with batteries charged!)
• The fish and chip place we're going to for lunch doesn't have credit card facilities, so make sure you have cash for lunch (there are some ATMs nearby)
• 98 RON fuel can be difficult to find down around the Bay; it might pay to have a full tank before we leave Canberra (total drive distance is about 360km)

Sorry for the late withdrawal team, but the dyno day has identified a problem with the AFR (leaning out) which makes the cruise tomorrow tooooo risky an adventure. Hope you enjoy the day.

To those that missed out, you sure did miss out.

Great weather, enjoyable roads, good company, and fresh seafood.

I would not have expected anything less from our events team. Any photos to show those who missed out?
